Dr. Hallie spent four years studying at the University of Sydney in Australia to gain her Doctor of Dental Medicine. She may have recently returned to Canada, but she is no stranger to our family practice. During her undergraduate studies, she worked part time as a receptionist, dental assistant and sedation assistant; but two decades before that she was even “employed” as Dental Laser Esthetics’ shortest and youngest office greeter.
She is passionate about community work. This ties into many of her experiences and interests. In 2017, as an undergraduate, she participated in a dental mission to San Quintin Mexico. Then, during her training in Australia, Dr. Hallie participated in elective placements at rural dental clinics to provide care for underserved communities and at the Australian Dental Association to serve vulnerable populations i.e., refugees and asylum seekers. She also participated in practicum doing complex root canals under the tutelage of an endodontic specialist. More recently, in February 2023, Dr. Hallie travelled to Vietnam for a joint medical dental mission. She plans to continue volunteer work and participate in specialist study clubs!
Please do not hesitate to ask questions about any of your treatment needs. Dr. Hallie is excited to work with you to achieve your dental goals.
